We are working with partners to curb the spread of COVID-19, but everyone in the state has a role to play in making this happen.
Any person of any age can get the disease. Some people can get sicker than others.

People who are sick with COVID-19 can pass it on to others, sometimes even when they don't feel sick.

Viruses don't discriminate, so avoid assumptions about who may or may not be sick.

Symptoms:

Some people who are infected with COVID-19 have felt just a little sick. Others became very ill. Some symptoms are:

Protect yourself and your community

Do the following to protect yourself and others from COVID-19:
  • Stay 2 meters (6 feet) away from other people when you leave your home.
  • Wear a face mask or cloth face cover when you go to grocery stores and other places where it is difficult to stay 6 feet away from others.
  • If you are sick, stay home.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Cover up when you cough.
  • Clean and disinfect heavily touched surfaces and objects.

Get your COVID-19 information from trusted sources, such as the Minnesota Department of Health and CDC websites.

Watch out for other sources, especially ones that talk about a cure for COVID-19.
